Went down yesterday. My eyes suck, so ... now and again, I miss
something.
Yesterday, it was one of those snake-like gouges in the pavement JUST
the width of a tire. The side of the pavement from which I approached
(in a turn) was slightly higher than the far side, so the groove was
pretty well invisible.
Caught the tire and--in an instant--smacked me down.
All is well, BUT ... it left two minor gouges on the outer edge of the
braking surface, perpendicular to the direction of travel. Makes a
slight sound when the pads hit it. Can't feel it through the lever.
Leave 'em alone? Worry about 'em? Post a close-up pic so a better
recommendation can be made?
TIA,
Neil
