  1. Sorry to interrupt the Lance Chat, but yet again there is a bicycle race this weekend.

    Who's it going to be?

If Vino were still in form and racing, I'd say he might do ok at this one. I have no idea if he'll
be there and what kind of shape he's in though.

You can go back to the Lance blather now.

  2. This is a weak shot, the Lance chat seems over since a few days. Narcism is winning over the
    groupies and newbies again.

the Clasica: there's a quite complete starlist at cycling4all.com. I'm curious whether Pecharroman
will be able to show off in a top race, but maybe he is just tuning for the Vuelta.

    Rebellin for the win.

    First Belgian to finish 43th.

Are they doing the Jaizkibel twice this year? I heard they were going to throw in an extra loop
there at the end to make it a harder race. If they do...Mayo. If not - I'll go Hincapie.

    Iban Mayo will win.

Even without an extra time up it, you think that he can hang with fast guys up the hill?

I was there last year. It stayed together until the top 1.5k or so and to be honest - it's not THAT
brutal a climb - maybe 7%? He was pretty close last year when he fell off on a corner.

Looks like they are not yet going to do the Jaizkibel twice. It's not hard enough to shake a
strongman style rider - and George did well in the final ITT. I'm sticking with George "I have the
grossest varicose vein legs in the peloton" Hincapie.
