  1. LANCE is in the race, but hasn't been racing.

Ekimov looked very good (obviously) at the Tour of the Netherlands and it's tempting to pick him but
    I'll have to go with:

Vinokourov, even though I don't have any information on his recent form. He's got the entire package
    - the aerobic ability along with recovery and explosiveness.

    Best placed domestic D3?

How about Dario Falquier (WEBCOR)? One of those underfunded D3's has to come up with a surprise
    result sometime.

    so:

    1. Vinokourov

    best domestic: Dario

    go Dario, go!

  2. How about Viktor Rapinski (Saturn) as the darkhorse?

  3. Hey dumbass:

Go to the bottom to find my picks 1,2,3. No candy-ass here. Ekimov third by the way.

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

  5. Isn't anyone interested in picking the highest-placed T3 pro, best T3 team, first T3 to lose more
than half of their riders? What's the over/under on number of T3 guys getting to the finish?

And why isn't Rene Jeannson making the two-hour flight from her training site in AZ to compete
against a few of the best women racers in the world on a course with some hard little climbs?

How about Chris Horner. He might be the best div 3 rider....then again Vaughters might be coming
    into form.

The course is perfect for her. Other things may not be. There are whispers about why she doesn't
race in Europe either, but it's all speculation.

  16. Damn, that Saturn guy is blocking the picture of me. If I would have known that was you I'd have
taken a whizz on the netting.

No way. Simoni won't be able to hang in with you. He will be DNF after he blows up from the pace.

    Dumbass,

Saturn is a domestic D3. So are 7-Up, PA, etc. Are you making the distinction between D3 and
    "small" D3?

Tempting to pick a Euro, but McCormack for the overall. Best "small" D3: Ben Jacques-Maynes (Sierra
Nevada-Clif Bar). How can one not like this team? It's named after beer (that tastes good, unlike
Coors). And food, if you consider Clif bars food.
