  1. Has anybody had any experience with the carradice carradura saddlebag? One
    of the things I'm wondering
is what sort of support mechanism I should get for it (or go for the
integral?) - if it makes any difference I
have a Dawes Super Galaxey with B17 standard saddle.

    Thanks for any advice...

My Carradice saddlebag is supported by the B17's saddlebag loops.

    Ken,

Thanks - that's it? No need for additional support do you think?
If that's the case, then I'll just do that...

My Carradice Nelson saddlebag is entirely dependent on the the leather
straps and the saddle loops on my B17 saddle on my Galaxy and Raleigh bikes.

    Vernon,

Many thanks - all sounds fine to me then. Now I just need to *really* make
up my mind on *which* saddlebag!

    Thanks again,

I know them well, I used to cycle to Pickering and back from Darlington to
attend the traction engine rallies in the seventies when I was a lot
younger. There's no hills as such in the moors, just very deep valleys :-)

Now my forays into the moors are when an Audax ride takes me there. I'm
aiming to be up that way in late May for some gentle cycle camping/touring.
