I seem to be having a bit of pain near my manhood ever since I got aerobars on my bike and leaning down in that position. It feels like they are getting smashed into the saddle or being pushed on either side of the front of the saddle. I don't wear cycling shorts and a jersey so I don't have the protection of the chamois. If this can relieve the pain, I will invest in some shorts and a jersey. I got a Royal Selle Viper saddle, if that might be the problem I will prolly get a more comfortable one or find a way to get a better position on it.

A good pair of shorts should help quite a bit, as they hold things up and out of the way. You might also want to pitch the nose of the saddle down a few degrees.

Some people have good luck in dealing with this problem by using a saddle with a cut-out midsection such as those made by Terry.
Cycling shorts will help as well since there will be much less fabric bunched up under there.

I assume you're wearing a swimsuit, then, as there'd really be no reason to ride aero bars in blue jeans or cargo shorts. 🙂
That's not an uncommon problem with aero bars. The common solution (aside from raising 'the boys' out of the way with riding shorts), is to move the saddle further forward and pitch the nose down *slightly* to ease the angle of the pelvis. Don't go too far, though, or you'll be constantly using your upper body to keep your butt from sliding forward off the seat.

I've had an aerobar and did feel some pressure there. Shorts and a more comfortable saddle could make a difference, also try to adjust the seat position. Still, I did enjoy the great relief on my palms, wrists and elbows 🙂 .

2. Buy this saddle cadencecycle.compd blackwell cut.cfmOpen ↗I have spent thousands on saddle and this has been the best for the tri position.
