I don't know what year it is either, but the seller is on crack asking that much for it. That thing
is worth about $150, and I think that would be very generous.

Besides that, the fork is threaded, and is seems to be missing the front brakes.

That's about right. I bought one of those new in about 1998, though it had much better components,
like a threadless headset, a few XTR pieces, manitou forks, and so on. I'm not sure that this bike
is worth the $35 it would cost to ship it to an individual.

I find it odd that we can Supersize the picture that *doesn't* show its components. There must be
something they're trying to hide...

It's an M2 S-Works. I think the new S-Works are M5s. Even the cheapest Rockhopper will probably
using M4 technology by now.

I'd say it was earlier than that. The Team S Works frame changed very little in the mid to late 90's
but the threaded headset and Quadras would point at something around '95-'96, IMO.

That frame is 1998 or older because it doesn't have a threadless headset, I think the 1996 was
painted like that so that would be my guess. It is defiantly speced out with comfort bike
components. Sacrilege!
