  1. Does anyone use an Ipod Mini when running?

I'm wondering about wear on the internal mini-hardrive and the effects on
the device over a period of time. Can the motion of running damage one of
    these devices?

    Thanks-

Don't worry about, i used my very old 5GB one and nothing happened, same
with my new 4GB mini one. They're well built and they get no damage from
    running or cycling

  4. The two low-end iPods are solid-state.
The problem with them is that they are so light
(the weight of three quarters) that you may not
know when it has fallen off.

    Other than the sudden silence?

  6. I would advise no. I run with a Rio Forge. Flash memory devices are
much more stable given the shocks you will give the player while
    running.
