  1. All, Hello!! I am new to the forum. I would like to do a poll on what music people use to run.

Here are some below that I like. Problem is....after a few weeks it gets old and I need some more
ideas. So drop what your doing, grab your mp3 player and copy down what you have queued up for
    your next run.

    1. Zwan - Honestly
    2. Marilyn Manson - Rock is Dead
    3. Weezer - The World has turned
    4. Smashing Pumpkins - Geek U.S.A
    5. Creed - Higher
    6. Beastie Boys - Sabotage
    7. Beck - Mixed Business
    8. Rage Against the Machine - Killing in the Name of
    9. Fatboy Slim Remix of - Magic Carpet Ride

  2. You must be a yankee. Down here in the south I don't need music, I get plenty of noise from the
horns of fat ass rednecks in ford four wheel drives trying to run me down

    ....

you're more likely to get some responses if you were to rephrase that more as a request rather than
telling people to drop what they are doing.

but, anyway, do a google search on this group. there have been at least half a dozen threads on this
    topic this year.

  4. I'm sure everybody realizes that I am not demanding they drop what they do. I just thought this
would be a fun thread, and being new to the group I haven't seen the dozen other threads on this
    topic this year.

Sorry if i offended anyone. Please continue what you are doing 🙂

of course everyone does. it's just a matter of how you phrase it.

with your original query, you are unlikely to get a lot of responses. people are always willing to
help, but only if you're nice.

did you search? i found one from the last month: (also check the way he's phrased his query.)

    groups.google.comgroups

you can use this to do more searches:

I listen mostly to Trance, Techno, Hard House and Heavy Metal. Basically anything with a banging
beat. At the moment I have the Gatecrasher stuff loaded - top choons.

  8. When I run I listen to live Phish songs. They are great because many of the songs are 15 and 20 plus
minutes. So in only a few songs you have run up to 1 hour.

Crosseyed and Painless, Talking heads cover Sand You Enjoy Myself Wolfmans Brother Harry Hood and a
    bunch of other Phish songs.

    Good stuff I tell you.

  9. Dude!

I'm SO with you on a couple of songs. No Doubts "Keep on Dancing" is awesome for running. And so is
    Folk Implosion's "Natural One."

  10. I would load a full Phish or Widespread Panic show into the player. Keeps me busy for almost
    three hours.

  11. I may sound nuts, but my most favorite running song is "Brown Eyed Girl" by Van Morrison. Maybe it's
the tune, I don't know, but I just have to run faster whenever I hear it. 🙂 Let's see I also have
"Laid" by James (the song from American Pie) "More Than a Feeling" - Boston and a bunch others but I
    like mushy love songs. 🙂

  12. The Rocky soundtrack, tracks 1 and 3, mixed in with some live Bruce Springsteen and Southside Johnny
    and the Asbury Jukes.

    Keep you running forever...

    Bluesman

  13. Lord of the Rings - The Fellowship of the Ring. I grabbed a CD copy of the audio book (16 cd's!) and
ripped them to MP3. It helps me zone out and next thing I know, the run is over. :-)
