Hi everyone, for the last 2 days when i go on my usual jog i experience
pains in my left leg , specifically i feel pain on my "calcaneal tendon"
(the tendon that connects the calf muscle to the heel bone), I did some
research on the Internet and it says the best way to recuperate from this is
rest , I guess i should do that at least for a week , what do you all
suggest, (im going to miss jogging lol)
Another thing im wondering what could be the cause of this, i mean it
could be a lot of things, I jog every day minus Sun, alongside the city
canal on dirt road, about 3mi, i walk 2blks to warm up, I have been jogging
this route for almost a year now, and never experienced this problem,
another factor could be i jog with my 4yr old running shoes, Reebok classics
the all leather kind , tell you the truth they never gave any problems ,
thats why i stuck with them.
My main question to all you guys/gals is what do you recommend, should i
rest at least for a week or what other suggestions do you have, thank you.
Ps, and yes im planning on buying new shoes lol
