  1. Any advice on training in Toronto ? Dave ? Are there any athletics tracks that
are open to the public ? I'll be there between June 12 and 16.

    Cheers,

york university has a indoor track. it looks as if it's not
open to the public during the summer! i'm checking
and will post the answer tomorrow. it's pretty nice.

    just try to keep up.

I got a response from the Centre. They didn't mention the
indoor track but the outdoor one is open to the public
from about 5 pm to 9. They run track meets during the day
so when they finish the clean-up, the public is allowed on.
Cost is 5 dollars canadian. I've been there and they have
the usual lockers and shower/change room facilities.
Parking will be extra and as i recall was about 5 dollars.

I'm game to set up a get-together. Everyone can be
invited. I'm 10 mpm on a good day, so this'll be
    a slow one for you.

I can't help you with tracks but I can suggest several good places to
run. Just to the east of the downtown core are trails along the Don
River which runs n-s. If you're close to Lake Ontario there is a paved
path all along the shore. In the west end there are paths along the
Humber River which runs n-s, and lots of runners use High Park, which
    has hills.
