  1. Hello,
I am going to be in New York next week and I am thinking of running in
Central Park. Does anybody have recommendations on running there? Is one
    time around six miles?

    Thanks...

As the map Donovan posted shows, one lap on the main paved course is 6
miles. Keep in mind, the north end of the park, especially on the west
side has a couple of nice hills, as does the east side right around the
Metropolitan Museum. There are recreation lanes all along the roadway,
and vehicles are prohibited as well during certain times.

For a nice flat diversion, you could jump onto the Reservoir Loop which
gives some nice views since it's a liitle raised from street level.

Yes, make sure your health insurance is paid up, and RIP.

Yes. They've restored the original iron fence, though, in the past few
years, and it's more attractive now. The views are remarkable.
