  1. It makes your hair fall out. I just discovered it. Your hair will fall
out so fast you won't realize what is going on. Read others remarks:

  2. Well maybe, but did you really need all that hair on your knuckles?

WEIGHT LOSS causes hair loss. Atkins does not have a monopoly on it.

  4. Take a step back from the microwave then, it's leaking. ;-)

I noticed, too, that after I started Atkins my hair fell out sooner. I had
hoped to die young from obesity related problems with a full head of hair,
but I guess that just won't be.

  6. Once your hare figures out your new eating habits, it is likely to break out
of the hare cage and fall out. An extra fence around the cage should keep
    the rabbits from escaping.

Like someone else said, all diets with calorie restriction are associated
    with hairloss.

    BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!

Were you born that gullible or did your mother drop you on your head when
    you were a baby?

It was both. And she hit me with an ugly stick.

  8. I can believe some people have food allergies that cause them to lose
hair. Everytime you change your diet you run the risk of introducing a
food you a allergic to, or increasing the levels of a food you are
allergic to. Some people can even be allergic to suppliments. I would
suggest any suffering adverse effects from any change in diet to switch
back to their old eating habits, then introduce the new items and
change the portions one at a time.

One of the reasons induction is so limited is because it limits the
chances of introducing a food you a sensative to. Likewise, that is
why in OWL should only introduce one new food at a time.

That said, it is very easy to falsely blaim a diet on a new problem.
For example, when my wife got sick, I was ready to blame Atkins. Then
she reminded me she had some of the early symptoms several days before
starting the diet. Finally, when she was diagnosed I discovered that
if anything the diet has helped to lesson her symptoms.

  9. I wish I would lose some of that hair on my back...

The only thing is, I also started noticing hair thinning about 2 months
ago..... but I'd gotten lazy about taking my vitamin supplements,
    especially B-complex.

Once I improved my "habits" and got better at taking them at least 4
times per week, I noted today that the problem is reversing itself.

It's not the diet per se'. I think ANY cutting back on foods to lose
weight will cause hair loss due to malnutrition!

Never neglect the vitamin supplements. :-) It's a good lifetime habit!

I understand this happens with pregnancy too. I suggest all women stop
having sex immediately to avoid any hair problems from body changes!
