You guys have got me 'owlin' here. I know it's a great hobby, but why would
anyone want to flamin' go camping somewhere where they may put rare birds
off their nests. They'd probably feel bitter'n angry about it, I'd be raven
for days I think.

I though that the provisions of the Land Reform Act(Scotland) would
over-ride this sort of "ban". While I'd not want to intentionally
disturb nesting birds, a test case might be worthwhile. This needs a bit
more investigation. . . .

The problem generally with the RSPB is they try to impose bans that
are longer term and more stringent than they need to, often in order
to preserve birds that are anything but rare.

However, in this case, given the OP, they are almost certainly
entirely justified 🙂
