  1. Met the gang N of town today. It was too nice NOT to ride. The sun was out,
it was way warmer than it looked. The east side of the river is sunnier than
the west side this time of year. Rode some new-to-me trails, rode some of my
regular stuff backwards which was fun, and showed Crazysteve and the Big Guy
a new piece of singletrack. Everyone admired how clean my chain was after
they all told me to clean it last weekend. We made a nice loop around the
park. Best move of the day, I was loading my bike onto the roof tray on top
of my Subaru, and lost my grip so I dropped it and it was a good thing I
still had my helmet on as the top tube smacked me on the head. But I stood
still so that the bike wouldn't fall off the car and so that everyone could
    have a good laugh.

You're so good to keep everybody laughing. How's your head? It's raining
here, so my riding is upstairs watching videos and dreaming.

Head is fine, that's what helmets are for. Raining? It's so gorgeous here it
was all I could do to make myself work today. As of last night I could
boast a 4 rides in the last 6 days record.
