  1. I hauled myself 50 miles up to Loveland this morning to hook up with some folks for a ride.

Of course, I was stood up.

But, the Monkey and I had a fine, if not quiet and a tad lonesome, time of it.

It was a glorious day and not too many folks were out taking advantage of it.

  2. Thanks for the pics! I keep meaning to get my butt out there and check it out myself; haven't yet.

It doesn't look nearly as technical as some folks have described (parts of) it to be ... is that
selective camera work or simply differing definitions?

There are parts that are faitly technical. I guess I tend to stay on the bike and work at those,
    rather than stop for pics.

Very nice. Now I've had the song "devil's haircut" in my head all day.

Nice SS, Bill ...one speed to rule them all, one speed to find them, one speed to bring them all and
on the trails pass them In the Land of Avalon where the geared pigs lie...

Something's wrong 'cause my mind is fading And everywhere I look There's a dead end waiting
Temperature's dropping at the rotten oasis Stealing kisses from the leperous faces

Peace, Bill ...one speed to rule them all, one speed to find them, one speed to bring them all and
on the trails pass them In the Land of Avalon where the geared pigs lie...

Boy, you got a purty countryside.

Bill "rode the Penis today not knowing I had a hole in my rubber" S.

(Penasquitos...thorn in "tubless" tire...psi ~12...bike felt very squishy.)

Great sig, Bill! And the "quiet and a tad lonesome" goes well with the SS. I'm probably the most
sociable fool I know, but when I'm out on the SS, I'm the rocker dude in Bob Seeger's song. And
    it's perfect.

The temp was perfect. Somewhere around 60, I'd guess.
