Give the man a See-Garrr. Actually I Gimped myself in but close enough. I thought it came out
pretty good. It was fairly easy because the lighting and the background were the same. The 'mazing
thing was that Bomba more or less figured it out without seeing the originals.

I actually hadn't considered Gimp, I just thought you'd set the camera on a monopod with a timer.
Still, nice work, it's virtually unnoticeable 🙂

Wow. Great pictures from what looks like an epic day. I should know this, but is Michael Paul,
"ERPaul" of past ng humor fame? If so, a big Howdy to him too.

There was humour from urpLE? Heheheheheh..... ',;~}~

Here's the short version: Hooked up with Bill Porter, Miles Todd, Sorni, Michael Paul, Steve Wolf,
and Bryan Lee and we had the best ride ever.

Wow, kick-butt ride and pix! Good to see Miles representin' on the SS!

    G

I had to. It's my only mountain bike.

Someone had to represent on a SS for such an easy climb.

The climbs WERE pretty easy, except for the hike-a-bikes. Real men carried heavier GEARED bikes
    up those 🙂

(Actually, the very first climb to Sherman Summit was a bit tough even before hitting the
hike-a-bike section, as it was right-off-the-bat AND at 9,000+ feet, which for us passes as
elevation. Luckily for me, I had ridden at 13,500 with a Freak, Daddy2B and Moderator last
summer, so it wasn't that big a deal. Also, I get winded at sea level, so I don't panic when it
    happens up high!)

Of course I also took the Plunge with V-brakes, not those pansy-assed disc things everyone seems to
    rely on these days.

We used the tripod/ timer later, it was to rocky where we were. We were on top of a pile of
boulders, I'd have probably broken my neck trying to run back to stand with them.

    The longer version with pictures.

Steve W. dropped me a line, he was going to do the Cannell Plunge again. Last time I had done
the plunge it was an absolutely incredible ride, I didn't have anything planned for the weekend
so I figured what the hell, go for it.

Thanks guys for making this the best ride ever.

Yeah, ERPaul was a bit like a proto-Rimmer. No offense if you're lurking, ERPaul. /s
