If you are so worried about the starvnig in Africa, why don't you sell your computer and donate the money to them
There are sensible expenditures that we all make in order to be part of our society. And then there are senseless expenditures that some few of us make which mark us as jackasses. An example of this would be spending like maybe $200. for a bike helmet from a fancy mail order bike catalog when you get one at Wal-Mart for $10. You get the idea I'm sure.
By the way, all it takes to move this country to do something for the starving is for TV to start showing us pictures every day of them. However, absent that, we go blithely on our way spending money like the demented people that we are with nary a thought for those dying in misery when they could so easily be saved. The UN is not even good for humanitarian aid anymore.
