The blue stripes on the tires are a more intense blue than on the photo,
and the bike itself a bit more purple.

And a first quick spin around the block confirms that it is a lovely bike

Aaargh! Mozilla (admittedly Firebird 0.6) fires up teh page so that,
without images, the anchor specified is at the bottom of the page.

As soon as the pictures start to arrive, then it's displaying exactly
the wrong one. Mind you, the shots from teh tops of the mountains are
spectacular. Don't expect you'd get up there on a 'bent, mind you.

Having said that, I really like the 'sit up and beg'-type seating on
the new 'bent. (Well, up for a 'bent anyway. Maybe it's time to
start saving... No. No. that way lies madness. You are not my
father. Where's Old Ben? ... etc)

Not sure what you mean... The Fiero isn't that laid back compared to
something like a Baron lowracer but (a) not a lot is and (b) it's lower
than your average 'bent. Recline angle is similar to mine on the
Streetmachine or perhaps a little more laid back, but the seat is lower.

He's in a very comfortable chair if he's got any sense! ;-) If you
value your cycling comfort more than your immortal soul it's worth
having a try. If you're in Dundee you can have a go on mine, but I
think a ride on the Fiero may require dodging red lightsabre slashes for
a little while yet! ;-)

The Fiero is an interesting concoction, being low enough to be rather
sporty but with comfort, handling, features and build that make it
Sensible too. Nazca have fiddled a bit from the original, which has now
been designated the "sport", and provided a second "tour" model which
sits a little higher, mainly to accommodate front sus forks as standard
(The sport model has rigid forks as standard, though you can specify a
Pantour sus hub as a standard option if you want to take the sting out
of the bumps a little). Roos's is a Tour.

When we were over in Amsterdam testing various 'bentage Roos's first
reaction to looking at one was it would be too low to be practical, but
since it would've been rude not to try it anyway a quick spin around the
square the shop was on resulted in Grin Factor 10.

They're not for everyone, but once the curiosity is hooked it's
difficult not to follow it up with at least a try. Not everyone has
their soul instantly sucked out like mine was, so you might escape
without a big 'bent dent in your Visa card! ;-) Kinetics has a few that
cover a range of styles, and Ben's happy to let you play on the Toys to
get a feel for what's there and what the differences are. If you're
over in Glasgow anyway you might as well...

Works fine in Firefox 0.8 (maybe you need to upgrade, Gawnsoft).

BTW, very nice looking bike, Roos. It looks good *despite* being

There is an easier way up (rather exposed, but technically
straightforward), the standard method for near-beginners (or a large
group) is to go up the easy way and abseil down the view in the picture.

The fun part is getting there. It is quite a stroll up to the pin.

Very nice views though a little exposed. Described by the first acensionists
as " an overhanging and infinite drop on one side, and a steeper and longer
