Thruster (the brand name, anyway) used to make BMX bikes with an
additional tube between the top and down, welded to the head and seat
tubes. Extra strength/stiffness apparently. I thought it was a cool
idea then. I recently read that the frames, guaranteed for life, were
made TOO stiff by the third tube, making it more susceptible to
breakage.

I wish he had two or three to sell, I would hate to buy this one and have
all my friends be so jealous they would not ride with me anymore. So
