Rollers - Good time to buy at Nashbar / Performance?

Kreitlers (sp?). Want my Challengers for $175.00 you cover shipping?
Good shape and belt is in good condition. Shoot me a PM/email if

I would take a used set of Kreitlers over a new set of Performance
rollers any day. FWIW, I bought a set of used Kreitlers five years
ago, nary a problem. A friend bought a new set of Performance Pro
rollers, a few rides later, the bearing was bad. Just one data point.

Hi, To the person above who offered the Kreitlers , thanks, but I was
hoping to keep around $100 if the Performance/Nashbar rollers were any
good. Hopefully someone will see your post and take interest.

I decided to look at Nashbar and Performance after going through the
archives for rec.bicycles.* All of the posts I saw, until the one above
mentioning the bad bearing, have been positive. The only bad thing I
read was about getting zapped by static after the end of a ride on a
set of PVC rollers. It'd be a little annoying, but livable.
