What's wrong with the tyres on the Giant with the 4-speed Nexus?

It has 2.1" tyres with slick in the middle and big knobs on the edge, it tips the rider off in corners. :eek: I have tried to get hin to fit some 26x1.5 Conti City Contact like on the Upland. That would make it a nice bike to ride, I got 32kph out of if on the flat in front of my place last Saturday. 😄

For anyone who's interested, an OEM version of the Rohloff is on eBay, starting at $900.
