Rogers to T-Mobile

Why not? They don`t have a real stage race specialist so if he would improve his climbing before it would be perfect. If T-Mobile stays as it is, he will be just another co-leader.

Quick Step said once they saw how much he was asking for next year they said Good Luck. I guess he got it!

Maybe T-Mobile wants to expand their market share in Australia.
With the advent of the Pro Tour I think business concerns are trumping actually winning the Tour etc.

Besides Ullrich and Vino are close to the ends of their careers. Its like Disco and Popovych.

If I were Mickey Rogers, I would be more concerned about Godefroot leaving than Jan or Vino. T-Mobile needs a better manager before anything else.

He is an awesome rider, but he still needs a little more nurturing. I don't believe T-Mobile is the best place for him as of right now.

Lefévère´s justification only mentioned money, which is not fair as it must be about team support also. I think its a good thing to move from Quickstep and if the money he wants is that much then about one of the only teams that could afford him so easily is T Mobile. Lefévère came out and basically said they wont be getting anymore climbers and guys like Mercado wont be given a new contract, so the only means of support for Rogers in a GC is gone. He also said they wont be replacing him with anymore future TDF GC guys so it shows where his minds at (with Boonen obviously and for good reason too).

I heard there was a shakeup happening at TMobile after this season (its needed badly) with alot of the old heads going. Also looks like Vino is leaving (maybe yet another reason Rogers signed) and with Ullrich getting older and Kloeden inconsistant (and soft) there could be a decent leadership spot for Rogers in the near future.
