I have some older Rock Shox forks Judy XC 1996 pre the one piece type.

I have removed the MCU spring from the top of the forks. one side has
collapsed completely and the other is in tact. Also need the damper unit

Where do I buy parts for these forks?

Before you remove the bolts .... tap them with a deadblow hammer (or
hammer and a block of wood.

Basically, just unthread the bolts at the bottom of the slider three
full turns. Then use a plastic mallet or a deadblow to tap on both
bolts until the heads are back against the sliders, then finish
unthreading the bolts and remove the sliders from the rest of the fork.
The damper cart., and neutral shaft are probably stuck to the inside of
the slider.

Good luck finding parts .... If you look around you might be able to
find an air cartridge upgrade .... when all else fails ... EBAY

I now have the forks apart thanks - simple really I didn't want to force
things and destroy the forks.

I may have to make a mould to cast the elastomer springs.

I have contacted www.hippiesuspension.com for parts see what happens
with them.
