Yeah I saw that. I did check to see if anyone else had replied to your

Well, I don't think the Rockhopper has ever come with 27 gears, so
something sounds a bit odd.

My '03 Rockhopper certainly has 27 gears. Not sure if they did a
silver version, but then there are a number of models, basic, disk,
comp, comp disk, so there may well have been one in that colour.

Mine's an '01 w/ 27. Blue on silver.
