  1. Well, last month had no serious competition, so in a sense, Mr. Delorie's
efforts may have become futile. However, at the risk of complaining about a
free service, I must note that the website has been down a few days.

I'm not sure if I'm seeing the next phase of USENET fading away, or if
spring/summer is a time that folks are porking up.

Even the WW newsgroup looks slow these days. WW used to always be busy,
even when ASD and ASDLC were slow.

I've been dining out more, and the computer says that I am screwing up on my
portion estimates. The damn eyeballs just don't measure up to the kitchen
    scales.

If I helped even one person lose some weight, my efforts were not
    futile :-)

I fixed it. It probably would have fixed itself had someone posted a
stat, and I'm not sure why it broke even without one, but it's there
    again.

Chopped liver -- alive and well and reporting for duty.

    Sheesh.

It didn't occur to me that it might just need a stat to read. Thanks for
    turning it back on.
