April was a slow month for me. However, in March the weight dropped very fast, so things may be averaging out. My calorie consumption rate is still on track. March averaged 1422 calories per day and April averaged 1514 per day.

Lost that pound again, after I cheated at a Mexican restaurant last week. Ugh, EVERYTHING had flour and beans! And I didn't even have a margarita.
The last time I went to a Mexican restaurant I found a grilled seafood salad on the menu, with avocado and sour cream, I also poured a little salsa on it. It was very good.

I get upset, when I read about cheating. I suspect it is the primary reason for failure. Dr. Greger quotes a study that found that 75% of those who think they are doing low carb actually have a high carb level....

Well, I saw it, but I don't think it's going to stick. And we're going away for the weekend, staying with friends.. I'm pretty sure there are going to be a couple of meals in there that aren't low-carb. *sigh* DH says I should just relax for a 24- hour period and not worry about what goes into my mouth from Saturday night until Sunday night.
Staying low carb just requires planning and logistics.

Today is one of those rare days when I weighed less in the evening, than at 5AM.
