Road SRM's on the track?

It works, you just have to 1) fiddle around to get a straight chainline, and 2) make certain that you don't have any back-pressure on the cranks when you set the zero offset.

Regarding #1, you can put the ring on the inside as you suggest, but you might also try 1) using a shorter b.b. spindle (provided the powermeter doesn't contact the b.b. and/or frame), and/or 2) putting spacers behind the fixed cog to bring it outward (provided that you still have enough thread engagement to avoid stripping the cog and/or hub during, e.g., a standing start).

One other issue *might* be whether you feel it is necessary to get 3/32" cogs and chain, or if you're comfortable using your 1/4" stuff with your thinner road chainring. Opinions on that vary, but it's always better to be safe than sorry...

I use my 130 mm BCD Pro road almost exclusively on the track. On one bike I have to put the chainring on the inner and on the outer on the other bike (too lazy to mess with spacers). This is the major problem with Campy bottom brackets - lack of range in spindle lengths.

Thanks guys, it's sounds feasible then. I guess the other thing I have to think about is crank length cos I'll be riding a 250m track with steep banking. The crank arms are currently 172.5mm - should I swap this to 165's for the track? I'd rather not, but will if I have to. The event I intend doing is the pursuit, not any mass start events or sprinting.

Unless your bottom bracket is particularly low, you shouldn't have a problem, esp in pursuiting. Guys here have ridden 177+s in pursuits on DGV 250 with 42 degree banks.
