Road Bike, is the price right?

Do you have everything else to build it up with - wheels etc, or will you be needing to buy these as well?

Building from the frame up can get expensive, but if you take your time it can be done well.

But if you are interested in building up a bike, not only is it a very rewarding experience, it also gives you a somewhat unique bike!

Having said that if the frameset is truly in very good condition, I think that's a decent price for a 2006 CAAD 8 frame.

I don't think that I can assemble a bike by myself. I have contacted the guy and he said that he is willing to sell the bike for $1956.

HAHAHAHA!!! You can pick up those bikes brand freakin spankin' new for 1200 - 1500!!! Great frameset, I built one up last year.

Did he give you a list of the components?

It sounds as though it's getting expensive, since you were looking for a rather cheap bike.
