  1. Hello all

Well, I am stil seeking around for my bike. My wife did go for a hybride.

But, I am not so sure.
I have seen some road bike with a bit "fatter" tires on them, kind of a mix of road tires and hybrid tires. They also look a bit more solid, comparing to a road bike.

What kind of bike is that?

  2. cyclocross

  3. Thanks

    How are they?
How are they for my need, road use, small tracks in forest, not heavy off road cycling at all.

  4. You may want to get some info from someone who is a bit more knowledgeable about cyclocross bikes, but from what I understand that is what they are designed for.

  5. Thanks for helping me🙂

  6. My friend has one as his main bike. He does group road rides with us (slightly slower pace but not bad at upper 20's km/h) and does trail and city rides on it. Quite a good choice. They tend to be rugged as well.

  7. I have 3 good friends that have both a cross and a road bike. 2 of them actually prefer riding their cross bikes more. mostly for the slightly more comfortable riding position. 2 of them do have different sets of wheels which they swap out to ride on the road (slicks vs wider treaded for trails). They have no probs keeping up with the rest of us roadies on their slicks.

  8. Is Cannondale Cross XR7 of one them???
