Can anyone suggest a suitable supplier for the above? Dad has a pair of these on his own bike, but they were supplied as ready-built wheels on cheap Shimano-pattern hubs (Campag pattern not available; I did check with the shop he got them from). The rims themselves are pretty decent, though, so I was looking to obtain a 32h pair for building on to Campag hubs; they seem a good training rim, probably MA3-equivalent but I suspect a little cheaper, in a two-tone black/silver finish which would complement the rest of the parts on my road bike. I've never seen Rigida rims except as OEM equipment. Personaly, I'd just gets some MA3s. Nicer rims IMO.
I've nver owned anything excpet Rigida. They suit me for pottering around and commuting. Even my tourer has Rigida (don't know what model) and they have never given me cause for concern. Of course I don't what what I might be missing with MA3s... -- I remember when the internet was only in black & white. It only had a few pages but at least they all worked. Email: Put only the word "richard" before the @ sign.

Rigida do make some nice race rims and wheels (the ready-built Contour wheelset as used on some Coppi bikes was favourably reviewed by CW some time ago), but they don't seem to be that widely available, probably as they're looked upon as "that other French [1] rim maker". I used to have a pair of wheels using the deep aero-section DP18s; great on the flat, virtually no problems with going out of true, but definitely *not* for climbing hills on....

I've used them several times (inc for rims): very quick delivery, normlly prepared to exchange or refund, usually have items in stock but it is worth checking before ordering. Their MA3 price with free shipping probably can't be beaten but some other firms do have black as well as silver non-CD versions.
Parker International's price is a few pence higher plus £6 for postage.
