Amazing that the above ride is so close to Kernville and the whole Cannell
Plunge thing but there were no tracks on the above trails other than shoes
and horseshoes.

It's amazing that so few people pull out a topo or a forest service map to
see what's out there beyond the guidebooks and websites.

Way cool. Nice photos too.
Oh, and the newer ThermaRest sleeping pads are really comfortable,
self-inflating, and they pack up pretty small. Better than an old school
air mattress.

this is one of those rare moments when I wish I lived in California. Great
shots, great write up and thanks for making me feel left out.......

I rode 18 miles yesterday afternoon....it was a hundred freaking four
degrees out the entire ride and nothing but brown....sigh!

another week and a half and I'll be in Colorado
