Ride for the Roses

Hmmm no, but my friend's dad is going to go. Are you going to do the bp ms 150 next year?

Yes, I have done the BP MS-150 the last 2 years an I will do it again for 2004. Don't know if you have seen it, but the finish will be at the State Capitol in Austin for 2004.

Sounds like fun, but the problem is that I can't find an adult sponsor who will go with me.

I'm doing the Ride for the Roses, it should be fun since they are limiting the masses to 5,000.

Have done the MS 150 5 times, the Alamo 4 times, put in 4,500 miles a year on my trusty steed....

Well I'm now one of the 4300 riders registered. I plan on doing the century depending on the wind and weather.

For Gene, I'm not sure how old you are, but for the MS-150 I know they used to have a 13 club which allowed teen age riders 13 and older to ride as a group together without adults along for the ride. You might want to contact then and ask about options. Also if you don't know, the Sun and Ski Sports at Katy Mills Mall in Katy has rides every Sunday morning. The Southern Elite Cycling club that runs the rides is very dedicated to youth cycling. Apart from the adults that ride, there is a group of young 12-17 year olds that go out and ride as a group as well. Typically 3 or 4 of the senior team members will ride with them.

I want to raise the most possible funds I can for The Ride For The Roses. I will be focused on it every day. 5 & 10 dollar donations add up! What a great cause!!!
