  1. web site for race in progress

    http://raceacrossamerica.org

These people are not like most of us - but the website has some
    interesting data

  2. Not really acrossing the America. They mostly drive by RV and only
ride bike on city bike lane. Then they drive to another cities and ride
a bike along bike lane. This is not
race acrossing America. you can't across America riding on bike.

    Nonsense. Read the site.

    (300) POLICE
RAAM is conducted over public roads, highways and bridges and is subject to
local rules and law. RAAM has contacted all the listed law enforcement
agencies (see copy of letter sent and list of agencies in the 2005 Route
Guide) prior to the Race and has addressed any concerns brought up by them
with regard to the Race. We trust that you will receive cooperation from
these agencies, however note the following points:

    250) DISQUALIFICATION
The following are considered flagrant offenses and are grounds for immediate
    disqualification:
    1. Refusal to agree and abide by the contractual requirements necessary to
participate in RAAM, including: riders and crew conducting themselves in a
positive and professional manner, release of liability waiver, insurance
waiver, rider conditions to race, title sponsor requirements, etc.
    2. Use of illegal drugs, banned substances, or intake of alcohol of any kind
by a rider or crew. A list of banned drugs is provided in Appendix A.
    3. Failure of a rider to submit to drug urine testing when requested by RAAM
Officials before, during or after the race.
    4. Rider advancing along the route without a bike or in a vehicle without
explicit authorization from a Race Official or Headquarters Staff member ,
except in the case of a medical emergency.
    5. Improperly registered or improperly insured support vehicles or
    improperly licensed support vehicle operators.
    6. Illegal drafting of any motor vehicles.
    7. Holding onto another vehicle (motorized or non-motorized) to aid or
    augment forward travel.
    8. Refusing to take a sleep (off bike) break, as requested by a Race
Official, after displaying unsafe bike handling skills,
    9. Behavior on the part of a rider or crew that is deemed inappropriate and
that might cause safety, legal, or reputation problems for the race or other
    riders and their crew.
    10. Willfully altering roads signs to misdirect the competition or for any
    other reason.
    11. Accumulation of more than 5 penalties of any kind shall result in

    manner.

You've been duped by White Cloud . . . or whatever brand of toilet

This guy is our regular local troll....

    Damn...

How do you keep track of WC? if I don't seem some weird WPP statement, I
    can't spot him.

    Sometimes, it's the "grammar."

Sometimes, it's the e-mail address (these days:
    [email hidden]).

    Mostly, there's just this sort of indescribable odor . . . .

BTW: RAAM started in my home town, San Diego, this year. There was a
banquet, offering the opportunity to meet, and dine with, the
    entrants.

I looked at it as /way too much/ competition for food ;-)

And luckily, when /irregular/, well, he's got all that toilet
    paper...(handy?).
