  1. Anyone doing anything for Ride 2 School Day on Wed? Not sure if there is
any official involvement at my daughter's school (FD you got any
idea), but we'll ride in anyway. Should be interesting, daughter has
ridden home on the trailer bike a lot but never into school which is
more uphill than down. I'm expecting to see some scary examples of bike
maintenance on the local bike paths.

  2. i think (hard to keep up! the ride2school crew are really kicking some goals thus far..) there are approx 350+ primary schools vic-wide involved. 40,000+ kids on bikes. still can't quite fathom that.

I'll check whether your+my daughter's school is signed up. i know the wiff and goirls are riding. maybe they can wheelsuck you ? 😄

I'll be interested to hear how much cycling activity your family saw. I
was on the road from 8:00 - 9:10 for the round trip past several
schools, and saw a total of:
    - 1 Dad and son on separate bikes
    - 1 Mum walking with daughter on scooter

I'll second that. Didn't see ay student on my regular route. I would have though Ride2School day was on yesterday based on the number of student I saw riding yesterday! There were heaps!

Cycling's become quite popular at our local high school. There's been a
large jump in numbers in recent months - the bike racks are usually
    full.

Full of BMX bikes. Not many sights are as funny as a gangly 15 year old
pedalling along with his bum near the ground and his knees up around his
ears. Never mind, at least they're riding.

Is that the truth, or is your News Limited?
