For weeks my neigbours have been saying they were going to take my rhubarb because they love it and I don't. But I hate to see anything going to waste so today I picked it. It's sitting soaking in the sink. Can I just chop it and throw it in the freezer.
Elaine ...........in Brampton. Weird goings on yesterday 5 mins. away from where I live. Alleged terrorists were arraigned at the courthouse. Police, helicopters etc. etc.
Why don't people just keep their own [censored] in their own country.

Yes, law abiding 'Canadian Citizens' just minding their own business............
My point is that Canada IS their own country. These are angry, antisocial males. Now you have your very own Timothy McVeighs. Can you imagine what 3 tons of amonium nitrate will do? Holy cow! --
Ham and eggs. A day's work for a chicken, a lifetime commitment for a pig.

Canada really isn't their own country. However, it probably is a better life.
Sure. Chop it. Throw into a plastic bag and put it in the freezer. It will be fine. Last spring I picked up some rhubarb on the way home and made a pie. My wife arrived home with another bunch of the stuff. I froze and used it for a pie in the middle of winter. It was great.
I like it just plain stewed. If you want more, do a pie and if you really DON'T like rhubarb.... make Barb's rhubarb cake. It will make a rhubarb lover out of you.

To answer your question. Yes. But I'd make some strawberry Rhubarb pie with some of it first. The strawberries couter-act the Rhubarb tartness. It's the ony thing "Rhubarb" that my husband will eat & It's ohh soo tasty too!
