Ahhhh yes I have it, but I thought you wanted the food🙂)

It's all good -- all Malta is good! Food good, history good,
landscape good, architecture good. There are places where I've
enjoyed and would recommend to others, but I know you must've really
liked it by your comment, '...in a heartbeat.' I heard the affection.

<smile> you are so right🙂) My second son was born in Mtarfa🙂 I lived
    in Paola in Zabbar Road🙂

Mtarfa is represented on the map - if you haven't looked already. What

Ophelia, do you have an icon posted for yourself now? If you don't, perhaps
someone will help you post one if you don't mind giving your address; I
don't know if some aren't posting because of keeping aneminity (sp?).
If you do have an address posted already, I think you can post two -- I
don't think there is a rule against posting more than once, but I may be
    wrong.

Thanks for the links; particularly the second one. Malta looks soo
special to me. I have a limey friend (probably in his 70's) whose
father is buried in Malta. I know not of the circumstance; the
personal history was private. I've always imagined Malta more
    intriguing than "Casablanca."
    Thanks,
    Dee Dee

I bought my parents the video of Casablanca... can you believe my (then) 73
year old mother had never *ever* seen that film?? OMG! One day last year I
called her on the phone and she was all like, you're interrupting us, we're
watching 'Casablanca'. LOL Oh, pardon me!

In my dreams, plop me down in Ricks. Everyone loves Ricks.

    Okay folks..

A lot of folks are adding themselves... But I guess I forgot to add
    one important piece of information.

You can zoom down to street level on this map. You have to keep on
zooming in, and moving the map. You move the map so you can zero in,
and then keep on zooming in on your area. You can go down as far as
street level... It won't show street addresses, but it will get you
very close to where you are.

Now try it. Those of you who put yourself in the wrong place, let me
know, and I will delete you so you can add yourself in the right
    place.

    Christine

Okay, here's a question. How do you get the name
of your town to show. For instance, when you are zoomed
out about 3/4 of the way you can no longer see Pittsburgh
in the southwestern PA area. Yet you can see Hempfield
(a small town way out in the country). That seems odd.
I seems to me that you ought to be able to see the major
cities when you are zoomed way out but only see the small
towns when you are fairly close in, so I thought maybe someone
fixed it so their town would show! If so, how do you do that?

In any case, Pittsburgh is a major city and should show at
all distances! I'm actually in Turtle Creek, a suburb of
Pittsburgh, but I don't care that much if it shows (and,
wow, do you have to get way in before Turtle Creek comes up
at all) but Pittsburgh should definitely show instead of
    Hempfield. Sheesh! ;-)

    Kate

There is no Pittsburgh. Were you not notifed that Pittsburg was cancelled?
Only the small towns and suburbs still exist.

Tee hee hee. Very funny Wayne. And by the way, even though
Pittsburg (sic) doesn't exist anymore, it still has an *h* at
    the end. :-)

Pittsburgh should definitely show instead of Hempfield. Sheesh! ;-)

    Kate

There is no Pittsburgh. Were you not notifed that Pittsburg was
cancelled? Only the small towns and suburbs still exist.

Tee hee hee. Very funny Wayne. And by the way, even though
Pittsburg (sic) doesn't exist anymore, it still has an *h* at
    the end. :-)

    Kate

It's disappearing letter by letter, Kate. :-) Having lived in Cleveland for
over 43 years, I do know about the "h" in Pittsburgh. Must be my fingeres.

BTW, did you know that Cleveland used to have another "a" in it?
{Cleaveland} It was originally named for General Moses Cleaveland, but later
changed. The stories vary as to why.
