I purchased a set of Revive DX bikes.
in 20 days I had my bike back to the dealer 4 times for repairs which
took them a lot of time each time.
1. The back spokes were loose and it took them forever to take off the
wheel covers. I do not know how they took of the back wheel but no
way I could do that.
2. The chain gaurd rubbed the chain sounding like a lawn mower. Again
back for a repair only to find out a new part was needed.
3. The chain came off and I could not put it back on. The dealer had to
pull off the sprocket and this took a long time.
4. I broke 2 spokes on the back wheel. I had to remove the wheel covers
to find out what happened. This took about 40 minutes. I could not
take off the back wheel.
I asked the dealer how a person could fix the back tire if it was flat?
The manual states you should not remove the tire yourself.
5. The speedodometer does not work right and they provided no manual. I
asked the dealer for a manual on the speedometer which is build in
to the bike. Giant does not provide one.
A six mile trail showed 6.72 miles and I could not fix it.
I am taking both DX models back to the dealer and getting the lesser
models so I can actually fix them if there is a problem
Beware of buying one of these unless you are an expert bike repairman
and have the tools.
