Anybody try these new Vittoria Revo.KXS reversable tires?
The marketing hype sounds good, but how do they ride/feel? Flat
resistance? Anoyone have any insight?
Quoted message said:From www.Vittoria.com:
"Revo.KXS is a reversible, double-face tyre. This means indeed
different treads on either side of the casing.
Either side can be used as an individual tyre, one can then reverse it
and have a new tyre!
With over 50 years in research, technology
and experience in the field,
Vittoria has managed to do something quite unheard of:
combining two treads on a single casing.
"One tyre, two seasons, many reasons" clearly goes to the core of
the revolution: one single tire has now two tread designs: one for grip
(KX) and one for speed (KS),
each side with a specific compound: one side for wet road and one for
dry road conditions.
It's truly two tyres in one and it has almost doubled the tyre
tread-life as well as the puncture protection."
