  1. In the new Colorado Cyclist catalog there are 15 jerseys
shown for women, 12 of them sleeveless.

There are 29 for men, 2 are sleeveless.

Not counting vests, variations on a theme, or jackets. Just
    jerseys pictures on people.

Women wear more sleeveless shirts in general...I know I wear a sleeveless jersey whenever it's warm enough to avoid sleeve tan lines as much as possible...

All the women I know that ride in the Houston/Austin MS150
have their jersey's altered to be sleeveless. Something
about not liking the tan lines.

Bike racers are scrawny little twerps with no upper body
development (Cipollini, Saunders, and the occasional Masters
sprinter excepted). It is socially unacceptable for males of
this type to wear sleeveless jerseys in public. Picture
Tyler Hamilton in a tank top to get the idea. Women don't
have the same set of social stigmas. (And their formal wear
    reveals more tan lines.)

The UCI's rule against sleeveless jerseys isn't because
they're a bunch of fuddy duddies. It is strictly for
    aesthetic reasons.

    Ben Overweight scrawny twerp (?!)
