Interesting, Armstrong as a young pup. Brochard hasn't changed a bit,
Armstrong on the other hand. Must be all those Jack LaLanne videos he
started watching. Don't see many LA "in action" photos pre-cancer.

Well it isn't the issue of a cap so much as the fact that Zulle and
other ONCE riders are accounted for in other photos taken at the same
spot (5km banner) at slightly different times. Zulle had soloed from
the previous climb (Cormet de Roselend) to take the stage.

As someone else pointed out in a recent tread, it is also cool to see their
eyes without sunglasses. I believe that the eyes really show their
emotions. That said, I don't know how people can race without glasses. I
have a hard time even on slow, short rides without glasses but my kids race
all of the time without them.

Hey! I have a pair of those. Best glasses ever made. Slightly big perhaps,
but that's very comfortable during riding. Very easy to shove up onto the
head too (what I do all the time) but hell to stick into a helmet, it just
