the finish.

OTOH, I've two mates with Bob Jacksons - and thought the finish on both was
pretty poor.
One had a satin finish that seemed to scuff very easily.
One had a deep gloss finish that suffered badly at some of the brazed on
bits - cable guides, etc, seem to attract paint flaking and corrosion very
quickly.

If you can put up with less than a show-room finish, consider powder
coating at about £40-£50. I had this done about 18months ago on my fixie
and the finish is as tough as old boots. Looks good too if you're happy
with a flat colour.

The respray I had done at Jacksons was via Ellis Briggs in Shipley.

EB said they had stopped doing resprays and sent all their paintwork to
Jacksons.
