  1. My addiction to cycling is, I think finally cured. I smell autumn in
the air, it's football season. Now I spend my weekends relaxing on the
sofa, with my favorite beverages, watching the endless parade of football
games. Dozing if I feel like it, or jumping up and down if it's exciting.
No more dodging cars, frantic pace lines, enduring rain storms or hurricane
winds. My life now is all tailwind, life now is finally good. Just ask
    Lance, he'll tell ya.

Funny thing about that. My interest in cycling rejuvinated just about
exactly when the football teams I followed started to suck ass. Now
I'd rather ride than spend time in front of the TV, even with the game
on Tivo and only taking 90 minutes to watch.

I'm keen to guess. San Francisco Bay area? Raiders and
49ers? I'm a shameless front runner, so currently I watch
    USC games.

    Dumbass -

Intelligent strategy. If you're gonna allow complete strangers to have
control over part of your emotion day, may as well choose some who have
a good chance of making you happy.

    thanks,
