A few people in a.m-b have owned them. They've got a reputation of being
the modestly priced SS to get if you don't feel like making your own project

because it has bmx spacing.

my understanding is that the '06 models don't have the bmx spacing. The
bike wasn't in the lbs yet but the store owner made the comment that they
changed the spacing.

I'm also looking at a used Vodoo ss that needs some TLC.

In fact, I just bought an Inbred for my wife for our 10th anniversary,

Yep ... Redline's are about a month out from shipping, but they are
coming with 135mm spacing this year.

I thought you had a bad back? SS would work great at Pima/Dynamite and
probably 100 too.

No worries on Vail. I'm here now, the weather is magificent, and I just
did a quick ride up the vail service road and back down fred's lunch. I
will attempt 2 elk on Friday (hopefully the weather holds).

In other Vail news... The corporate idiots have destroyed Commando Run.
It's gone! They stuck some smooth non technical singletrack in it's
place. Not that I was going to attempt it, but... now I have an excuse
not to bother.

I do but I try to ignore the pain. Genetics is a horrible thing sometimes
as my dad had disc problems and so do my two brothers......
I've actually done T100 in a single gear on my Switchblade, bobbing and all.
Last night a ss rider led the ride on T100 and two of the guys were in
granny gears part of the time.

Just let me know and I'll adjust my schedule. Probably won't get 5

They closed off the gnarly rutted exposed part and the wide lanes. Then
they cut some twisty ST just below it. They still kept the name, but it
is no harder than two elk. This is at least the part I saw at the top
of Vail Mountain yesterday. I confirmed it with one of the village bike
shops. I'll check tomorrow if the other end is more of the same.
