Just got back from the Ceremony (and a slight detour to le pub), am watching
at the moment now the ITV4 coverage ... am expecting adverts any second 😉

Provided my sky box doesn't crash I should have the Eurosport coverage on my
recorder. Sky + (got multiroom) is set just in case and I have my camera
with me. Bet all 3 fail.

Just watching the ITV4 stuff now, the atmosphere comes across better than it
was in person 😉

Hopefully the French got a good coverage, it seemed a little subdued
somewhere near the back ... but still a lot of enthusiastic people around
though ...

I think it's the lull before the storm ...

Selling them is probably going to lead to all sorts of problems from the
copyright police. Probably much better if you just leave them to your

Done ITV4, but unfortunately the picture quality is poor because I crammed
it all onto one disc (recorded directly). That was a bad idea, sorry. Has
anyone got a better copy for Elyob?

I'll do better tomorrow by recording to hard drive first then splitting it
up.

That's OK. Some further trouble will be saved for us both now.

I'm just back from Greenwich. Didn't quite make it to/past the official
start line due to it taking so long to get through all the road closures and
crowds, so just saw the riders touring past. Still, it's all over
incredibly quickly as far as seeing the racers goes. Disappointing in that
way, but the number of publicity/support/press/police vehicles involved, and
how long they take to pass, is absolutely amazing and makes it all worth
while. Millions of spectators enjoying the sunshine as well.

I'm sat at home flicking between Tennis, F1 and TdF (2 channels to avoid ad
breaks) ...

Not really recognising much of the ride, but there again I was head down and
watching the wheel in front of me.

Just got an email from one of the rider's team asking to use one of my
photos ... 🙂
