  1. Has anyone had a hitch reciever installed on the back of a
    new Beetle?

Any advice or warnings would be appriciated.

What type of recumbent are you going to use to carry your
    New Beetle?

  3. I have a Stratus and an Aluminum EZ-3. My major concern is
    the bottom mount (reciever hitch)

    Guy

  4. Did it myself. Worked great at towing a leetle trailer for
    my Vanguard.

  5. Did you use a commercial hitch or do a homebuilt?

How did you attach it to the car?

    Any photos?

    thanks

    Guy

  6. Commercial, Draw-Tite maybe. Four points of attachment: two
half-ish inch holes in the tire well with big beefy backing
plates that I sealed real well with some goop, the towing
loop and (the hardest to assemble) an attachment shared by a
muffler hanger and the heat shield via two 5/16-ish screws.
The 'sandwich' was difficult to get assembled and the screws
    started. No photos, sorry.
