For £1.95 a set and a bit of postage I would replace em' and have done with

Postage would be zero as I live in Edinburgh (well Balerno but it is
counted as in Edinburgh) don't know what I was thinking maybe something
along the lines of "any LBS will have them in their spares bin just ask
and you will be given a handfull FOC"

Will be soon, is getting on the small side for him , he will soon be on
a "full size" bike (god it's frightening remember as if it was yesterday
his first day at primary school now he is going into second year at the
high school) the one he has, has a small frame [which he was measured
for ] I am a great believer in "that bike. looks far to big for them"
when you see a four foot child on a "full size" adult bike. As this
bike. is being replaced shortly do not want to spend a fortune on it so
I will try and keep it going for a few months without spending a lot of
money (well any money really).
