I usually use Splenda to sweeten things, but since I've read so many
good things about Stevia lately I decided to buy some tonight. I added
a few drops to some yoghurt and it tasted really good, but then I got
the shakes, my hands were shakey like I was really nervous, and my
knees felt really weak and weird. I also noticed my heart was racing,
but not sure if that was because I was worried about the shakey
reaction. Has anyone else had this reaction to Stevia?
Much appreciated,
Chris

Some people are such jerks. :-P
I've not had that reaction, but it's possible.
I have that reaction to table sugar, and wheat flour.
If your body is treating it like a refined carb (like mine does with
splenda fillers) it's possible that you had a "sugar rush".
Try it one more time, but first try some of that plain yogurt with some
splenda just to be sure it really is the stevia, then toss whatever you
have left and don't go near it again.
Cheers!
