Quoted message said:some advice on the DX:
-you may find SIF much harder at first, due to the larger saddle (maybe
not, i did)
-the pinned pedals are awful without shin guards, so definitely buy
some.
-dont bother taking the pins out of the pedals, as some are
unremovable, and i found the pinless pedals very slippery.
-from what ive heard (and to an extent, tried) the pedals are terrible
for crankflips, and theyre not the best for unispins, either.
SIF isn't too bad, and you can just take the cover off and cut it down
to a better fit, and either buy a fusion cover or re-staple the old one
back on.
Arent all pinned pedals bad for shins, or any body part at that? shin
guards are really only needed once you start doing thing that will cut
you up.
Those last two are kinda funny, you say to not remove the pins, and
then say its bad for unispins and crankflips. Remove some of the pins
to get less grip so you can get off the pedals faster.
I my self have never had a problem taking my feet off the pedals.
