Everyone should run barefoot. The real problem is todays shoes are designed to
absorb the shock instead of our feet doing it (what they are designed to do).
Running off road barefoot is a great experience, and your body will thank you
    for it.

My dear Barf Bag, I can't believe we agree! I really like barefoot
running and always run without shoes on the treadmill or track.

If you're doing these training runs barefoot, I'd recommend a light
cushioned trainer for training runs on the road or trails, or a racing
flat for speed work on the roads. Depending on the trail, you could
possibly wear flats there too, it depends on how rough the trail is.

    Cheers,

Only this [censored] would recomend wearing shoes for your barefoot runs. Buy
moccasins, nothing but a piece of leather on the bottom of your feet, and
    you're all set.

I suggested no such thing. They wouldn't be barefoot runs anymore if she
    wore shoes, would they ?

You're running in moccasins now ? Did your 2090s wear out already ?

Are your feet any different now compared to when you did not yet run
    barefoot? Just curious.

I don't know (apart from the odd blackened toenail....) Stronger,
probably. They sometimes get stiff, like other running muscles, and I
sometimes have to stretch them consciously.

    EXACTLY!

No, I suggested that for you pansies who are complaing of blisssssssssssssters.
I grew up in the country, barefoot, and my feet have thick pads that allow me
to run barefoot. I think my knuckles dragging helps cut down the need for
    shoes.

Actually, almost, and I'm [censored]! Imagine getting only 1500 miles out of them
before they bit the dust? Well not quite dead, but they're going fast. I'm
going to write those [censored] and demand my money back.

I now have ~1530 miles on my Saucony Grid Trigons.
765 miles on the left shoe and 765 on the right shoe.

    They are still going strong.
