  1. So what have we got now?

    Illes Balears-Banesto - Spain
    Liberty Seguros - Spain
    Saunier Duval-Prodir - Spain
    Euskaltel-Euskadi - Spain
    Fassa Bortolo - Italy
Cofidis, Le Credit Par Telephone - France
    Credit Agricole - France
    Liquigas - France (?)
    FDJeux.com - France
    T-Mobile - Germany
    Gerolsteiner - Austria
    Quick.Step - Belgium
    Davitamon-Lotto - Belgium
    Rabobank - Netherlands
    Team CSC - Denmark
    Phonak Hearing Systems - Switzerland
    Discovery Channel - USA

And yes, they only want to grant 18 licenses.. if it were my decision
I'd give the last one to Lampre or Saeco, two deep teams with serious
talent and of an average ability higher than some of the other major
candidates, such as Vini Caldirola, De Nardi, Domina, and arguably
Kelme. I certainly wouldn't want to be behind that decision, though.
    Man.

There's already four from Spain. Your two picks make it three from Italy.
It should have at least three, given the French and Spanish representation.

Liquigas is Italian ... So 2 from Italy, and 3 from France.

Apologies for my mistakes. Is Liquigas replacing one of the current
majo Italianr teams? I hope so, otherwise letting the team into the
Pro Tour would be really really stupid...

    -Sonarrat.

Liquigas is being formed from a merger of DeNardi and Domina under the DS from the old Polti team. This is the sponsor Rebellin rode for for a few years. Solid. 😎

That's actually pretty cool. Will they have Scarponi and Honchar?
